【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포스코DX(대표 정덕균)가 장애인들이 유튜브를 통해 세상과 활발히 소통하고 작품 활동을 통해 스스로 자립할 수 있도록 지원하는 장애인 유튜브 공모전인 “꿈을GREEN다” 프로젝트를 진행하고, 지난 1일 시상식을 개최했다.

2일 포스코DX에 따르면 올해로 5주년을 맞이한 “꿈을 그린(Green)다” 프로젝트는 포스코DX가 포스코, 포스코플로우, 포스코휴먼스, 포스웰 등 그룹사와 한국지체장애인협회, 한려해상국립공원과 함께 개최하고 보건복지부와 환경부가 후원 프로그램이다. 

대회에 입상한 참가자에게는 부문별 다양한 포상과 함께 포스코 그룹사에 취업기회를 제공하는 것은 물론 국립공원공단의 홍보영상을 제작하는 서포터즈로 활동하는 기회를 주는 등 전문유튜버로 성장할 수 있도록 후속 양성 프로그램을 제공하고 있다. 실제로 지난해 공모전에서 최우수상을 수상한 김범준씨(33세)는 포스코그룹의 사회적 기업인 포스코휴먼스에 입사해 근무하고 있다.

이번 공모전은 △장애인식 개선, △GREEN(친환경) 등 2개 주제로 진행되었고, 총 308개 팀이 참여해 지난해보다 높은 관심 속에 개최되었다. 시상식에서는 사전 엄선된 최종 4개 작품을 유튜브 생중계를 통해 실시간 평가를 진행해 보건복지부장관상(장애인식 개선 부문 대상), 환경부장관상(GREEN 부문 대상), 포스코DX 사장상, 국립공원공단 이사장상 등을 선정했다.

박성은 포스코DX 경영지원실장은 "유튜브 영상이라는 매개를 통해 장애인들이 우리 사회와 활발하게 소통하고 이를 통해 자신의 꿈을 그릴 수 있도록 지원하는 것이 이번 프로그램 목적"이며 "유튜브에 대한 관심이 높아진 가운데 영상 제작 과정을 교육하는 프로그램을 운영하고, 여기서 배운 솜씨를 실전에서 마음껏 뽐낼 수 있도록 공모전을 개최했다"라고 설명했다.

한편, 포스코DX는 그룹사들과 함께 지난 4월부터 9월까지 영상 제작을 위한 기획 및 편집부터 컨텐츠 제작 등의 교육을 온라인으로 운영했다. 이와 함께 성남, 포항, 광양, 서울, 광주 지역 복지관, 특수학교와 연계해 유튜브 컨텐츠 영상 기획 및 편집 교육도 집합 형태로 진행하며, 공모전에 참고하고자 하는 장애인들을 지원해왔다.
